Mobile TV is the next step in development of a media and telecommunication world. It opens up a new channels for TV broadcasters to enhance consumer's loyalty and to win more viewers, independent of the home TV set , making the consumer’s relationship more individual and valuable. FineTech now presents a Java based interactive TV solution for mobile phone mass market which satisfies the need of the TV market. While the TV program is „streamed“ to the viewer’s handset via our FinePlayer 2 (viewer has to first download 30kB application into the handset), the cunsumer can interact.
Voting, betting and chatting interface (simple message or fill-in form window) - that is normally shown in the TV screen - can be adapted to the phone display according to our client's demand. The viewer can easily interact with TV show by merely pushing a button on his handset and enjoy participating in voting, quizzes or other interactive activities. Additionaly the viewer has an option to choose for another TV chanel, live cam source or on-demand video within the application menu.
Security or Traffic Cameras
FineTech license their streaming and encoding technologies (Java or 3GP) for the usage of external video formats as a source. Such source can be closed-circuit television camera stream to monitor traffic and provide surveillance.
That incoming camera source supplied by a third party is to be encoded via FineTech's encoding system into unique FP2 format to be streamed from FineTech hosting and streaming servers onto an end-user's handset.
There are also interactive features available within this service where the end user can receive up-to-date info by the service provider.
